A document workflow is an end-to-end pipeline that takes documents from inbox to compliant output without a human re-typing anything. The 5 stages are: ingestion (an inbox/agent that captures and routes incoming docs), extraction (document assistance agents that pull structured data with cited page references), validation (3-way matches, policy checks, expiry tracking), generation (Paperless renders the final compliant PDF, multilingual from one source) and audit (an immutable dashboard showing where every value came from). A chatbot is just a chat window; we ship the whole pipeline.
